Multiply It - Intentionally disciple and lift others to lead
Live It: Personal Daily Rhythms
Psalm 46:10 - Be still, and know that I am God.
Practicing Presence - Cultivate awareness of God's nearness throughout your day.
• Breath prayers, Lectio 365 app, pausing at key transitions (start car, enter home, etc.)
Scripture Meditation - Slowly engage the Word, not for information, but formation.
• BibleProject, asking/journaling: "What is God saying to me?"
Prayer - Conversational, confessional, intercessory (praying for others), listening.
• Examen, written prayers, intercession list
Sabbath, Silence, & Fasting - Weekly (or daily) moments of slowing, stopping, realigning.
• Digital sabbath, nature walks, morning stillness, hunger for God
Model/Share It: Intentional Spiritual Conversations
Matthew 5:14-16 - You are the light of the world…
You naturally influence your family, friends, coworkers, and group members. This is your "circle of influence."
Be intentional in:
- Daily prayer for/with people in your circle of influence.
- Spiritual check-ins - “How are you connecting with God?”
- Invite others into your own rhythms
Things you might do:
- With spouse - Pray together. Share how you are connecting with God.
- With family/kids/parents/siblings - Read scripture, talk about Jesus, pray at meals/bedtime.
- With friends - Share God's Word over coffee or a walk. Text a verse and ask how it lands.
- With colleagues - Ask about purpose, joy, fear… and listen. Bring Christ into the center when invited. Pray for/with them.
Multiply It: Walk Alongside Others in Discipleship
John 20:21 - As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.
Jesus spent time with his twelve and commissioned them to go and do the same.
What it might look like:
- Identify - Who is hungry? Available? Responsive to the Spirit?
- Invest - Meet 1-on-1 or in small circles. Study the Word. Pray. Talk about real life.
- Equip - Teach them to lead Scripture times, share testimony, serve others.
- Release - Encourage them to lead others and stay a spiritual support in the background.
