Wedding Eve

God of heaven and earth,

You are a great great God. The one and only to worship and praise. You gave us the breath of life and grace through it all. Here we stand before you today as you have prepared us for marriage tomorrow. Help us to keep you at the center of our thoughts and actions today and tomorrow. Help us know we marry to glorify you and your will for our lives. You are the author. You put us together. You knew before we were zygotes that one day would be today and we’d be preparing for a unity in marriage with each other held together by the bonds of Christ. The sun is rising. The air is crisp. The bustle of the day will soon be here and my prayer is that your peace and joy float through the day. Float with us.

You deserve all praise and glory and we submit to your will. Your way. Your plan for our lives.
