Dear God, I lift up Vickie to you today. I thank you for this amazing woman I get to do life with. She is a blessing in my life. I pray that you would give me wisdom to know her needs and take care of them. I pray that I would help lead her closer to you. I pray that she would seek you first and find you with all her heart. I pray that I would be able to communicate clearly with her. I ask that you would provide everything we need and more, in Jesus' name. Help us to fall more in love with you each and every day. Amen.

Jesus, We commit our day to you. Lead us by your Spirit and help us resist ignoring your gentle warnings when we’re overextending ourselves. Forgive us for letting our priorities get out of line. We don’t want schedules to dictate Our lives; we need you to guide us. Lord, we lift up those who are mourning a loss. We lift up those that will cross the threshold soon. We pray they had/have you in their hearts no matter how they were or how they acted here on earth. What’s in their heart is what matters. Let them have peace with their choices and peace in your presence. Lord, I ask that you not only forgive us for our sins of wayward thoughts and gossip but lead us so that we may be your light amongst the chaos. Let us be grace and truth among the manipulation and sin of this world. Let us rise above and not dwell on the drama of the moment. We put it all in your hands. In your name we pray, amen.

Lord God, I sit in awe at all you have done in 2023 and all that is in store for 2024! There were bumps for sure but there were also times of reaching the mountain tops - literally and figuratively. Lord, thank you for all the blessings 2023 brought. As we look forward to 2024, I pray you guide all that we are physically and spiritually. Help us be better Christ followers and imitators of His way. Help us to clearly see the path you have laid out for us and our family. Help put the devil and his evil ways at bay. Lord, this is a year to dig into your Word with both depth and breadth. Teach us and fill us with insight and wisdom as we go through it together. Pour not the words into our head but infuse the living word into our heart, body, and soul. Fill us with your spirit such that the evil one has no room to work.
